Lago Titicaca, Peru and some more islands

Puno is a Peruan city on the shore of Lago Titicaca.

Some Indians started to build islands of reed to get away from the Incas, those communities still lives on several built islands, but today mainly of tourism.
One of there homes. Each family only have one house like this and there are around 10 families on each island.
A little girl who gets her home invaded of tourists each day.
There are two less famous islands outside of Puno, whit some Inca ruins and terrace agriculture. I stayed one night at one of those islands.
Sunset from the island.
Nisser er ikke bare et norsk fenomen
Small houses, terrace agriculture and a few trees, the whole island is more or less like this.
The family I stayed with on the island. Stayed there with a Slovenian couple and they used me as translator :)
One of many stone things left by the Incas or someone else.

Utrolig fine bilder Joahn. Gleder meg til du tar meg med en gang :-D Og veldig godt å se deg med kort hår! Drit stolt over at du klarte å krangle deg fra grensevaktene også- morsom historie, men vær litt forsiktig.
